I live in the picturesque county of Dumfries and Galloway overlooking the Solway Firth.

I have looked after and handled animals all my life whether they be farm animals, dogs, cats or horses.

We have previously shown our dogs at Crufts and continue to be in the show world with our cats to which they have done extremely well on the Show Bench.

I share my home with my beautiful cats and my Fox Red Labrador, Sidney. We are very lucky to live in beautiful countryside where there are lots of walks and picturesque landscape for my hobby of photography.

 

Lunaraine av Else's Legacy  is a small cattery with the litters being select and very well planned. Breeding is for health, temperament ,type, size and  coat quality.The kittens go to their new homes at 14 weeks old.

 

 

I get all our kitten owners to sign and abide by a contract with strict requirements of the kitten/cat being kept as "indoor only" pet or that has access to a purpose built run. There is discretion for very rural homes and farms but a risk assessment needs to be done of the surrounding area.

 

The early months of kittens in their birth home spent with their mum and littermates are extremely important to the kittens learning proper cat habits and skills, developing a well rounded personality, and learning proper socialisation skills, This is necessary so that they will develop into a self confident and happy kittens that will become a wonderful and adored member of your family for many years. Potential kitten owners are researched very carefully because they will be entrusted with a kitten that I love and treasure.

 

 I want to make sure that each and every kitten is going to a loving, kind, and caring permanent home where he or she will be treasured as a special family member and provided with proper veterinary care, diet, attention and most of all, love.

 

 

We breed to preserve this beautiful natural breed and our much loved breeding cats produce kittens of  good type with excellent boning - size and excellent coat quality.

Our kittens are raised in our home and much time is given to ensure they develop into well socialised kittens with confident and very affectionate temperaments. They are all very special to me.
